On Monday, July 13, 2020, Damian Clay Chapman, loving son, brother, uncle, fiancé and friend went to be with our Lord at the age of 37.

Clay was born August 3, 1982 at Hillcrest in Waco to Bobby and Carli Chapman. He was a Corsicana High School graduate of the class of 2000. He spent the last 20 years self-employed alongside his dad.
He was more than a good person he was exceptional and anyone that knew him was blessed beyond measure. Clay did not just love and care for people, he had a genuine heart that felt deep and had an uncontrollable desire to help and give.
Clay had a lifelong passion for the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping. He was also worldly and cultured having done a bit of traveling abroad. Possessing a wealth of knowledge and an astounding personality, immensely witty and charming, he was truly one of a kind.
Clay was preceded in death by his stepmother, Carolyn Chapman, grandparents Ruby and Tom Mason, Floyd and Lometta Chapman. He is survived by his fiancé Veronica Kristiansen, their three children Julie, Malin and Aksel; his father Bobby Chapman, his mother Carli Chapman; his siblings, Diane Huston and husband Sam, John Tucker and wife Christi, Justin Tucker, Tiffany Moore and husband Kenneth, Angela Gothard and husband Jeff; his nieces and nephews, Ethan Huston, Alex Huston, Jossie Huston, Matthew Tucker, Tyler Tucker, Elizabeth Tucker, Jaxon Moore, Kaden Moore, Korbin Moore, Zack Tucker, Cal Tucker, Nirvana Stroud, Kassen Barton and a multitude of loving Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held at Corley Funeral Home in Corsicana, TX on Monday, July 20, 2020 from 8 am until 8 pm. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 21, 2020 at 1 pm. At Corley Funeral Home. As per Clay’s final wishes the graveside will be held at a later date with immediate family.
