Lalah Fern Beal passed away Sunday, February, 16th at The Village at Heritage Oaks in Corsicana. Lalah was born June 13, 1935 in Crisp, TX. to Jimmie and Maudie Hart.

She married Dewey Beal in Hillsboro, TX. in February of 1954 moving to Corsicana in 1960 where they would raise three children. Lalah was a full-time homemaker in addition to eventually operating a childcare business from her home for numerous years before retiring in 2002. She will be remembered for her kind heart and humorous stories about her childhood.
She was preceded in death by her husband of forty-eight years, Dewey Beal.
Lalah is survived by her sister, Jimmie Ruth Kline of Corsicana; son Donny Beal of Irving; daughter in law Karen Beal of Waxahachie; son and daughter in law, David and Connie Beal of Corsicana; daughter and son in law Debbie and Chuck Nance of Charlotte, NC. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Jon and Amy Beal of Mansfield, Lindsay and Jared Baker of Garland, Hogan Nance of Charlotte, NC. and Michael and Alicia Burleson of Euless, her great-grandchildren; Isabella, Lucy, Brayden, Lukas and Ellie as well as a host of nieces and nephews. At her request no services are scheduled at his time. Cremation is under the direction of Corley Funeral Home in Corsicana. The burial will take place in Hamilton Beeman Cemetery in Retreat at a later date.
