Mrs. Louise Ford, age 90, of Silver City passed away peacefully on January 22, 2020 at Heritage Oaks Retirement Village. She was born on March 8, 1929 in Corsicana to James G. Marr and Lecie Smith Marr.

Mrs. Ford was an active lady up until just a few months before her death. She was married to Billy G. Ford for over 66 years. She loved to travel with him and every year they would get a group of friends together and travel to see Ray Price perform. She was part of the Joyful Singers and enjoyed signing with the group and even made a few records. Her favorite thing was to be a stay at home mom to her son Billy, and then to becoming an awesome grandmother and great grandmother in the years that followed.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
She is survived by her son James W. (Billy) Ford and wife Linda of Silver City and grandchildren; Bradley Ford and wife Stephanie and Brandon Ford and wife Jennifer. Louise is also survived by three great grandchildren; Sadie, Emma and Aiden.
Visitation with the family will be held on Monday, January 27, 2020 from 6:00 -7:00 PM at Corley Funeral Home. Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Corley Funeral Home with Bro. Grady Cashion officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Ty Crum, Buddy Dyer, Jackie Thomas, Marcus Melton, Dennis Melton, and Joe Sawyer. Burial will follow at Younger Cemetery in Silver City, Texas.
