Santana G. Ovalle, age 74, of Corsicana passed away on Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at U T Health Center in Tyler, Texas. She was born on January 1, 1945 in Corsicana to Selso Ovalle and Ines Guerrero Ovalle.

She lived in Corsicana all of her life. Some of her many jobs were working at Summerall/Beachum Wholesale, caring for the Summerall children and ending her working career working at Russell Stover before her retirement.
Santana loved her church and was strong in her Catholic faith. She loved cooking for her family, her friends, and those less fortunate than her. She loved to read and to spend time visiting with friends. She also loved “Elvis” and spent many hours listening to him sing.
Santana was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings: Daniel Ovalle, Enriqueta Aguado, Tom Ovalle, Domingo Ovalle, Bert Ovalle, M.G. Ovalle and Albert Ovalle.
She is survived by her son Gabriel Ovalle and wife Kelly and her grandchildren Haley Marie and Hayden Matthew Ovalle and her brother Christian Ovalle.
Visitation with the family will be from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. with the rosary beginning at 7:00 P.M. on Friday, May 10, 2019 at Corley Funeral Home with Deacon Lewis Palos officiating. Funeral mass will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. at Immaculate Conception Church with Father John officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Ernesto Najera, Scott Summerall, Chris Ovalle, Tony Aguado, Tommy Aguado, and Weston Carroll. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Corsicana.
Santana’s family wishes to thank the staff at Fresenius Dialysis Center, Twilight Nursing and Rehab, and A Trinity Valley Home Health Services for the care and kindness that was shown to Santana during the last few years.
