Marva gave her career to Catholic Charities of Ft. Worth where she rose from receptionist to Director of Human Resources and administered the Adoption Registry. She retired after 36 years of service. Marva was fiercely protective of her staff and loyal to those she loved. Marva was an example of what compassion looks like and how to be a mother and grandmother.

She is survived by 4 children; Charles Tarvin of Dallas, Robert Tarvin and wife Kelly of Arlington, Elizabeth Gholson of Hot Springs, AR., and Susan Redder and husband Dr. Ron Redder of Corsicana; 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. The family would like to give our heart felt thanks to Trisun Care Center, Hand in Hand Hospice, Dr. Ron Rodriguez, Toula Glass, the Moore Family of Corsicana, TX and the Plocica family of Ft. Worth, TX for their remarkable care and support provided to our mother and our family.
