It is with great sadness that the family of Numan L. “Sonny” Baker announces his passing following a brief illness on Friday, November 30, 2018, at the age of 76.

Numan is preceded in death by his parents, Beauford and Norma Baker.
Numan was born on June 15, 1942, in San Diego, California. He lived in Eufaula, Ok until 8 years old and moved to Texas. He graduated from Samuels High School in Pleasant Grove, Texas and worked as a Project Manager for Campbell-Taggert for over 27 years. Numan was a long time resident of Frisco, Texas and a member of the First United Methodist Church. He was was an avid golfer and sports enthusiast who enjoyed spending time with his family and traveling.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Minnie Eloise Clark Baker; son, John Paul “J.P.” Baker of
Frisco, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Kimberly Baker of Ennis, Texas; and son,
Michael Baker of Pilot Point, Texas. He will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren; Ian,
Katie, Brookelin, Aiden, and Brady; and leaves behind a sister, Drudean Gregory, of Tulsa, Oklahoma; brother-in-law, Bob Clark and wife Bonnie of Grand Prairie, Texas, a niece, numerous nephews, and cousins.
A celebration of Numan’s life will be held at the First United Methodist Church of Frisco on Saturday,
