Mr. Delroy Graham of Corsicana passed away on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at his residence in Corsicana, Texas at the age of 89. He was born January 30, 1929 in Alba, Texas to Charlie and Hattie Graham.
He attended Wesley United Methodist Church. He attended schools in Malakoff, Texas, upon graduation he entered the communications division of the United States Army during the Korean War. He was employed by Navarro College as maintenance supervisor for over 20 years until his retirement.
He was known for the loving care given not only for his parents, but also, for his wife’s parents, his beloved wife Hetty Brown Graham and his sister-in-law, Oleta Saxton. He was well-known for his honesty and unselfishness to many people.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Hetty Graham; parents, Charlie and Hattie Graham; two brothers, Peyton and Raymond Graham.
He is survived by his sister, Ruth Hickman of San Antonio, Texas and his beloved pet beagle, Missy.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at Hamilton-Beeman Cemetery with close friend, Ronald Elmore officiating, as requested by Mr. Graham. Interment with military honors will follow.
Appreciation is expressed to the dedicated care givers: Doris, Tammy, Nelda and Terry who attended to him until his death.
