Michael Antonelli, 77 of Eureka, Texas, passed away on January 11, 2018 due to a sudden illness from natural causes. He was born in Catskill, New York on July 17, 1940.
Michael enlisted in the US Air Force at the age of 17 and served combat tours in Korea and Vietnam. Michael retired from the Air Force in 1977 at the rank of Technical Sergeant and then went on to work for 20 years with NAPA Auto Parts. Michael loved to travel the country with his wife Nancy, making trips to visit family and friends throughout the United States.
Michael is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Nancy; sister Denise & husband, John Sheroka of Altamont, NY, brother Robert & wife, Robin Antonelli of Jupiter, FL; 6 children: Michael & wife, Bonnie Antonelli of Mesa, AZ; Tony & wife, Stephanie Antonelli of Eureka, TX; Angelica Antonelli of Eureka, TX; Bruce Antonelli of Waco, TX; David & wife, Ana Antonelli of El Paso, TX; and Bobbi & husband, Frank Szabo of Seagoville, TX.; 13 grand children and 3 great grand children and a plethora of nieces and nephews. Michael was especially close to niece and nephew, John & Mavis Caggianelli of Hudson, NY and Theresa Rainey of Las Vegas, NV.
A celebration of Michael's life is scheduled at Michael's favorite eatery (Napoli's Restaurant at 111 E. Collin Street in Corsicana, TX.) on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at 6:00 PM.
